The animal stood out due to its strong overall performance in both the live show and carcass evaluation. The awarding process considered both live presentation and carcass characteristics. The winning steer secured a high position in the live show while also performing well in carcass judging. It displayed excellent qualities such as a desirable ribeye size, balanced fat coverage, and a strong yield grade. These factors play an important role in determining meat quality and market value.
