BW fusion launches new platform for crop nutrition solutions

BW fusion launches new platform for crop nutrition solutions

By Andi Anderson

BW Fusion, Biodyne, and Agronomy 365 have come together to form a new integrated platform under BW Fusion. This collaboration aims to revolutionize crop nutrition by providing growers with advanced, sustainable solutions for every stage of the farming cycle.

Biodyne brings over 30 years of research on beneficial microbes. BW Fusion has leveraged this expertise since 2019 to improve soil health and reduce contamination in row crops.

The inclusion of Agronomy 365 adds cutting-edge technology to measure soil activity, analyze data, and offer insights that help farmers make informed decisions about nutrient management.

This merger combines Biodyne’s biological research, Agronomy 365’s tech-enabled analytics, and BW Fusion’s manufacturing and commercial strengths. Together, they aim to provide comprehensive solutions under one roof—from research and development to data insights.

BW Fusion’s Chief Agronomist, Jason Schley, emphasizes the company’s mission to enhance soil health and crop productivity. “By leveraging our combined expertise, we equip growers with the right tools to improve farming practices and profitability,” he said.

The platform doesn’t stop at product development. It employs experienced agronomists to educate farmers on soil health and crop nutrition, helping them optimize their farming practices for sustainable results.

Grant Wells, a BW Fusion partner, highlights the importance of tailored solutions. “Our products and insights are revolutionary, showing growers exactly what their crops need to boost efficiency and yields,” he said.

The project is supported by Bain Capital Double Impact, which aligns with its goals of scaling sustainable and climate-friendly practices. BW Fusion currently operates on over 1 million acres, with plans for further expansion.

This collaboration marks a significant step toward sustainable farming, combining innovation, data, and biological advancements to support growers and the environment.
