The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Dairy Team continues its monthly webinar series with an insightful session on Wednesday, Jan. 22, from noon to 1 p.m.

This free webinar will focus on climate and weather predictions for the 2025 growing season, offering dairy producers and industry professionals valuable insights for planning.

The webinar will be led by Dennis Todey, director of the USDA Climate Hub in Ames. Todey, a native of Iowa, holds a bachelor’s and Ph.D. in meteorology and agricultural meteorology from Iowa State University.

His expertise also includes a master’s from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and experience as a state climatologist at South Dakota State University. As a well-known speaker and former president of the American Association of State Climatologists, Todey brings a wealth of knowledge to the session.

This webinar is designed for dairy producers, consultants, and industry representatives seeking to understand the potential climate impacts on the 2025 growing season.
