DB Yummers BBQ Ltd. is recalling certain batches of their Sweet & Smokey, Mildly Spicey, and Island BBQ sauces due to processing irregularities discovered between March and August 2023. The deviation in processing parameters raises concerns of potential premature spoilage or product adulteration.
Affected products, sold in 19.5 oz glass jars, bear specific date codes outlined below:
- Sweet & Smokey: 051825, 052625
- Mildly Spicey: 031325, 061525, 062925
- Island BBQ: 062925
These items were available for purchase from May 15 to December 1, 2023. The deviation was identified during a routine inspection by the Ohio Department of Agriculture.
