Everything to Know About the 2026 Ohio Beef Expo Event

Everything to Know About the 2026 Ohio Beef Expo Event

By Andi Anderson

The 2026 Ohio Beef Expo, Ohio’s largest and most popular beef industry event, is going to start today, March 19 and will end on March 22 at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus.

Each year, this Expo brings together cattle producers, youth exhibitors, industry professionals and families from across Ohio and nearby states. The event is known for its strong combination of education, breed sales, youth shows and a large trade show—all located in one central venue.

The final show program for the Expo has been released. It was mailed with the Expo issue of the Ohio Cattleman magazine and is also available for download on the event’s website.

Visitors can access the show program along with catalogs for the seven breed sales. These documents include event schedules, exhibitor lists, sale information and other useful details.

Because of ongoing construction at the Ohio Expo Center, the layout for traffic flow, parking and entrance access will look different this year.

The Ohio Cattlemen’s Association has worked closely with Expo Center staff to help ensure a safe and efficient experience for everyone. A full map with updated traffic instructions has been provided to assist visitors.

Parking for trucks and cars will still be available on top of the Gilligan Complex. Limited parking will also be located east of the Voinovich Building, where the trade show is held. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as these areas will fill quickly.

A major change for 2026 is that there is no Sale Buyer Trailer parking on the fairgrounds and no entry from 11th Avenue. Sale Buyer Trailers will park in the Korbel camping area north of Gate 10. All trailers may enter the fairgrounds through Hudson Street, Exit 112, and then use Silver Drive to access Gate 19. Trailers can also enter through the plaza east of 17th Avenue off I‑71. However, 17th Avenue remains closed to west‑side traffic due to construction.

To help guests navigate the grounds, golf cart shuttles will be available from several parking areas north of 17th Avenue.
