The University of Minnesota Extension will host the sixth annual Gardening from the Ground Up webinar series, a free program designed to help gardeners build practical skills from soil to harvest.
The session “Decoding Garden Product Labels: What You Need to Know Before You Buy” will take place on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. (Central Time). Educators Katie Drewitz and Robin Trott cover common terms on product labels, including broadleaf, woody plants, grasses, pesticides, weed-and-feed products, and fertilizers.
Webinar recordings will be shared after the series for those unable to attend live. Registered participants also gain access to Garden Buzz, a summer 2026 program where Extension educators answer gardening questions live monthly from May to October. This webinar is free and open to all. You need to register only once to access all five sessions. Register Here
The University of Minnesota Extension will provide equal opportunity for participation in all programs, services, and activities. To request accommodations for persons with disabilities, participants should contact the event organizer at least two weeks before the start of the event. Requests received after this date will be honored whenever possible.
