Holiday deals on Illinois State Fair passes for carnival fun

By Andi Anderson

Looking for the perfect holiday gift that offers both fun and memorable experiences? The Illinois State Fair has just what you need with its special holiday sale on Mega and Jumbo Passes, available at the lowest prices of the season.

Starting Monday, November 4, the Mega Pass is priced at $70, offering unlimited carnival rides, while the Jumbo Pass, which includes unlimited rides and access to the Giant Slide, is available for $80. These prices are the lowest of the year, but they won't last long—prices for both passes will increase by $10 starting January 1, 2025.

"The Illinois State Fair is a wonderful way to make memories with your family," said Rebecca Clark, Illinois State Fair Manager. "Instead of buying another toy or electronic gadget, give kids the gift of experience with Mega and Jumbo Passes and enjoy quality time together this summer."

In addition to Mega and Jumbo Passes, the fair is also offering Admission Bargain Books and Seasonal Infield Parking Passes, perfect as stocking stuffers.

The Admission Bargain Book, priced at $45, provides 11 any-day admissions to the 2025 Illinois State Fair. Meanwhile, the Seasonal Infield Parking Pass, available for $40, grants parking access on the infield at Gate 6 for all 11 days of the fair.

For those who prefer unique holiday gifts, the Illinois' Best Blue Ribbon Recipes cookbook, featuring award-winning recipes from the 2024 fair, is available for $15 when picked up onsite or $20 if shipped.

Take advantage of these limited-time deals and make the Illinois State Fair a memorable summer experience for your family. Orders can be placed online at statefair.illinois.gov, by downloading an application from the website and mailing it, or by calling (217) 782-0775 to place an order or request a return call.
