The Illinois Pork Producers Association (IPPA) is launching a new grant program to support pork research in high schools and colleges. The program offers grants of up to $2,000 to engage students in hands-on research projects related to pig farming, nutrition, and overall pork production.

This initiative is funded through the Illinois Pork Checkoff and aims to inspire interest in agricultural careers while providing valuable insights to benefit the industry. The IPPA aims to foster a new generation of talent dedicated to advancing pork production.

Eligible institutions are encouraged to apply by September 30th. The program provides financial support and aims to build stronger connections between the pork industry and educational institutions.
