Iowa Dairy Webinar to Highlight Cyber Security and AI in Farming

Iowa Dairy Webinar to Highlight Cyber Security and AI in Farming

By Andi Anderson

Iowa State University (ISU) Extension and Outreach Dairy Team will host a webinar on February 5, from 12 noon to 1 p.m., focusing on cyber security and artificial intelligence (AI) in farming.

This session is part of ISU’s monthly webinar series designed to educate farmers and industry professionals on key agricultural issues.

The webinar will be presented by Alexis Stevens, an ISU Extension and Outreach farm management specialist for 11 counties in west-central Iowa. She will discuss strategies to enhance digital security for farm businesses and families while also exploring how AI can improve farm operations.

With increasing reliance on digital tools, farmers are more vulnerable to cyber threats, making online security a top priority. This webinar will provide insights into protecting farm data and preventing cyber attacks.

It will explore how AI technology can be used in dairy farming to enhance efficiency, productivity, and decision-making.

Dairy producers, farm consultants, and industry professionals are encouraged to attend. Participants must register online at least one hour before the event.

For additional details, farmers can reach out to ISU Extension dairy field specialists:

This webinar offers an opportunity for farmers to enhance their knowledge of digital security and AI while ensuring their farm operations remain protected and technologically advanced.
