There's still a chance to register for the 2024 USMEF Strategic Planning Conference, set for November 6-8 at the Westin La Paloma Resort in Tucson, Arizona. This event promises a deep dive into current issues impacting U.S. trade policy and agriculture, featuring speakers renowned in their respective fields.

The conference will kick off with Jim Wiesemeyer, a seasoned journalist and expert on Washington D.C. politics, who will discuss the latest developments in the presidential election and their potential effects on U.S. trade policies. Attendees will also gain perspective on U.S.-Mexico trade relations from Mateo Diego, a leading trade expert from Mexico.

On the following day, Dave Juday, an expert in market and policy analysis, will present an overview of geopolitics affecting U.S. agriculture and exports, focusing on both challenges and opportunities.

The conference will wrap up with a session where Jim Wiesemeyer will provide more updates on the election's impact on trade.

The USMEF international team will also share strategies on how they're using Regional Agricultural Promotion Program funds to boost global demand for U.S. red meat and diversify export markets.

In addition to these general sessions, attendees can engage in breakout discussions tailored to the beef, pork, exporter, and feedgrain/oilseed sectors, enhancing the relevance and application of the information shared.

Hosted in a venue surrounded by the scenic Catalina Mountains and equipped with top-notch amenities, the conference combines professional enrichment with a premium location, making it a must-attend for professionals in the agricultural sector.
