Join the Dairy Beef Expo

By Scout Nelson

The Carver County Dairy and Beef Expo will take place on February 16, 2026, providing a full day of learning, networking, and industry engagement. Hosted at Central High School in Norwood-Young America, Minnesota, the event runs from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and welcomes dairy farmers, beef farmers, students, ag professionals, and all individuals connected to the agriculture sector.

The expo is well known for bringing the dairy and beef community together. It offers a valuable opportunity for attendees to learn from experts, discover new technologies, visit trade show exhibits, and connect with peers from across the region. The event is designed to support continuous improvement in livestock production and encourage strong relationships across the industry.

The day begins at 9 a.m. with registration and the opening of the trade show. A Beef Quality Assurance training session will follow, providing important information on safe and responsible livestock management. An early bird drawing in the Trade Show Arena adds excitement and encourages participants to explore vendor displays.

Morning educational sessions begin at 10:30 a.m., covering important topics for livestock operations. A keynote address at 11:30 a.m. will highlight current trends and opportunities in the dairy and beef industries. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., allowing attendees to enjoy a meal while continuing to visit trade show booths.

Afternoon sessions will begin at 2 p.m. to offer additional learning opportunities before the trade show closes at 3 p.m. A final door prize drawing at 3:15 p.m. will conclude the event.

Registration for the expo takes place on-site on the day of the event. The entry fee is $15 and includes a meal. Vendors or sponsors interested in participating must contact the event organizer by December 22, 2025.

Interpreter services and disability accommodation may be available upon request, ensuring that all participants can fully engage in the event.
