Join us for a one-day seminar featuring Dale Strickler, Chief Agronomist at Regenerative Wisdom Consulting Firm, on November 2nd, 2024. This event will take place at the SAVE Farm, located at 9680 N. 52nd St., Riley, KS 66531.

For additional inquiries, feel free to call or text Mary. Lunch will be provided. When registering, please indicate your type of agricultural operation and experience level. The seminar is open to everyone, including educators and agency personnel.

This complimentary Grazing Management Workshop is sponsored by The SAVE Farm, supported by generous grants from USDA NRCS, KACD, and KGLC.

Dale Strickler, a Kansas rancher and author of The Drought Resilient Farm, will guide participants through a series of modules designed to enhance agricultural efficiency.

Dale Strickler holds a master’s degree in agronomy from Kansas State University and has taught for 15 years. His expertise includes cover cropping and grazing strategies aimed at improving soil health.

The seminar will cover four key modules:

  • Enhancing the efficiency of capturing, storing, and using rainfall in agricultural operations.
  • Ensuring livestock are fed and watered during droughts without incurring significant costs.
  • Developing a more moisture-efficient and profitable agricultural approach on the Plains.
  • Understanding how current land management practices affect rainfall and exploring ways to reverse these trends.
