K State Sheep Producer Day will be held on March 28, 2026, in Manhattan, Kansas. The event is sponsored by the Kansas Sheep Association and the K State Department of Animal Sciences and Industry. It is designed to provide sheep producers, students, and industry partners with valuable education and updates on current research.

The program will take place at the Stanley Stout Center, located at 2200 Denison Ave, Manhattan KS. Activities will begin at 9:00 a.m., with check-in starting at 8:00 a.m. Coffee and donuts will be available for participants during registration.

The registration cost is 15 dollars per person if completed by the March 13, 2026, deadline. After that date or for those registering at the door, the fee will increase to 30 dollars per person. Early registration is encouraged. Details for Registration, Flyer, and Tentative Schedule are available through the event listing.

The schedule includes several educational sessions focused on sheep production and research. At 9:15 a.m., attendees will hear an Undergraduate Research Update highlighting current student projects. At 10:15 a.m., a presentation on Immune Response to Parasitism will discuss how sheep respond to internal parasites and how producers can manage flock health more effectively.

At 11:15 a.m., participants will learn about the CIDR Study, which focuses on reproductive management practices in sheep. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. and is sponsored by Superior Farms.

The afternoon session will begin at 1:30 p.m. with an NDSU Research Update, offering additional insights into sheep production research. The program will conclude at 3:00 p.m.

This event provides an excellent opportunity for producers to learn about new research findings, improve flock management practices, and connect with others in the sheep industry. Educational programs like this help strengthen livestock operations across the region.
