Kansas Farm Bureau Backs Ron Estes for Re-election

Kansas Farm Bureau Backs Ron Estes for Re-election

By Scout Nelson

Kansas Farm Bureau (KFB), one of the leading agricultural organizations in the state, has officially endorsed Congressman Ron Estes for re-election to the United States House of Representatives. The announcement reflects strong support from farmers and ranchers across Kansas’ 4th District.

The endorsement was made by Voters Organized to Elect Farm Bureau Friends (VOTE FBF), the political action committee of KFB. This group is made up of active farmers and rancher members who are selected by their peers from each of the organization’s ten geographic districts. Their role is to support candidates who understand and advocate for agricultural issues.

Ron Estes, who currently represents Kansas’ 4th District, has gained recognition for his efforts in supporting agriculture and rural communities. His work on the House Ways and Means Committee has focused on improving trade opportunities for American farmers. Expanding trade helps farmers sell their products to global markets, which can increase income and economic growth.

KFB President Glenn Brunkow praised Estes for his consistent support of agriculture. He said, “Congressman Ron Estes has proven himself to be a friend of the farmer and he’s worked to open doors for agricultural trade on the House Ways and Means Committee,” says KFB President Glenn Brunkow. “Estes’ leadership continues to gain him respect and influence, as shown by robust grassroots support from county Farm Bureau organizations in south-central Kansas.”

The endorsement highlights the importance of having leaders who understand farming challenges and can create helpful policies. Farmers and ranchers often depend on decisions made at the national level, including trade agreements, pricing, and farm support programs.

Estes’ ongoing support from Farm Bureau members shows strong confidence in his ability to represent their interests. Grassroots backing from local county organizations further strengthens his position as a trusted advocate for agriculture.

Overall, this endorsement reflects the close relationship between policymakers and the farming community. It also emphasizes the need for continued support for agricultural growth and development in Kansas and beyond.
