Kansas Firm Earns 2024 Exporter Honor

By Scout Nelson

Kansas-based KSi Conveyors has been named the 2024 Governor's Exporter of the Year, a top honor recognizing its contributions to global trade. Governor Laura Kelly and Lieutenant Governor David Toland visited the company’s Sabetha facility to officially celebrate the achievement.

“KSi is changing the agricultural industry and paving the way for the creation of even more innovative technologies here in Kansas,” said Governor Laura Kelly. “Their focus on quality products, ground-breaking developments, and a strong international footprint make them the best choice for this prestigious award.”

The Governor's Exporter of the Year Award is Kansas’ highest recognition for businesses excelling in exports. KSi Conveyors received this honor last October during the Kansas Department of Commerce’s To The Stars: Kansas Business Awards event in Wichita. The company was selected as one of three finalists.

Expressing gratitude for the recognition, KSi Chief Executive Officer Paul Kaeb said, “This award is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our entire team. We remain committed to delivering top-quality solutions to the agricultural industry while expanding our global presence.”

A family-owned business, KSi Conveyors operates manufacturing facilities in Kansas and Illinois, with additional representation across the Midwest, Canada, and South America. The company is known for its expertise in bulk seed handling equipment and advanced automation control systems. Its products are widely used across North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa, helping to enhance efficiency in seed transportation.

“KSi's strategic approach to innovation is directly impacting our local and state economy — while their Kansas-made products are improving lives across the globe,” said Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland. “KSi is a perfect example of the type of company Kansas needs to drive growth in our state- vibrant food and agriculture sector. Our state's world-leader status is furthered by KSi's advanced technologies and reliability.”

By combining advanced technology with a commitment to quality, KSi Conveyors continues to position Kansas as a leader in agricultural solutions worldwide.
