The North Dakota Farm Bureau (NDFB) has announced the appointment of Molly Holt as its new Southwest Field Representative. In her new role, Holt will also serve as an advisor to the Dickinson State Collegiate Farm Bureau, providing guidance and support to future agricultural leaders.
Molly Holt comes to NDFB with a rich background in agriculture, having previously worked as a Livestock Production Specialist for Craven Feeds under the Purina brand.
Her academic credentials include a bachelor’s degree in animal science from North Dakota State University, where she also gained hands-on experience in wheat genetics research at a USDA lab and honed her skills as an artificial insemination technician with Deans AI Service.
Raised on a ranch in Ralph, South Dakota, Holt's upbringing in a commercial cow-calf operation has ingrained in her a deep understanding of the agricultural sector, making her a valuable addition to the NDFB team.
Joey Bailey, NDFB's Director of Organizational Development, praised her unique skill set, stating, "Molly's unique set of skills and experiences in ranching will contribute significantly to our team. We look forward to welcoming her to the NDFB family."
In her capacity as Southwest Field Representative, Holt will be responsible for supporting NDFB members across several counties including Burleigh, Morton, Oliver, Mercer, Grant-Sioux, McKenzie, Dunn, Stark-Billings, Hettinger, Adams, Bowman, and Golden Valley.
Her duties will include member support and fostering leadership development opportunities, enhancing the effectiveness and reach of the NDFB's programs in these regions.
Holt's appointment is seen as a strategic move by NDFB to strengthen its support network for farmers and ranchers in the southwest region, ensuring that the bureau's mission to promote and protect the agricultural interests of North Dakota continues to advance effectively.
