The Morrow County Farm Bureau hosted its annual Farmers Share Breakfast on March 15, bringing together the local community and farming families at the Williamsport Grange in Congress Township. More than 75 people attended the morning event, which highlighted the value of agriculture and the dedication of local farmers.
Attendees enjoyed a hearty breakfast and engaged in meaningful tabletop discussions with farmers and agricultural experts.
The breakfast served as a platform to strengthen the connection between farmers and the people they serve. It offered a welcoming space where community members could ask questions, share concerns, and better understand the efforts farmers make to support rural life.
Sixteen agricultural organizations set up informative displays, providing both farmers and visitors with practical resources and knowledge. These displays covered a range of topics important to modern farming and rural living.
A special panel presentation focused on the personal rights that protect farmland and property. The session sparked engaging conversations about legal protections, helping landowners stay informed and aware of their rights.
This session was particularly appreciated by attendees looking to preserve their agricultural heritage.
As part of the event’s commitment to giving back, $250 in proceeds was donated to the Stock the Trailer project at the Morrow County Fair. This initiative helps support youth involvement in agriculture and encourages donations of food to local causes.
