Greeneye Technology has partnered with Intellifarms Northern Division to expand access to AI-powered targeted spraying technology across the Upper Midwest, including Iowa. The partnership will provide growers with local sales, installation, and support services as interest in precision agriculture continues to grow.
Based in South Dakota, Intellifarms Northern Division serves producers throughout Iowa and surrounding states. The company is expanding its precision agriculture offerings to help farmers adopt technologies that improve efficiency and deliver measurable returns.
Greeneye’s targeted spraying system uses artificial intelligence to identify weeds and apply herbicides only where needed. The technology helps reduce non-residual herbicide use while maintaining effective weed control and lowering input costs.
The system features a dual-tank, dual-line design that allows growers to apply residual herbicides across an entire field while targeting non-residual herbicides only to detected weeds. This approach improves application efficiency and supports more precise weed management.
Another advantage for growers is the ability to retrofit the technology onto existing commercial sprayers. The system also operates day and night and does not require per-acre software fees, making it a practical option for many farming operations.
The partnership combines Intellifarms’ grower relationships and technical expertise with Greeneye’s precision spraying technology. Company officials say the collaboration will help Iowa growers access innovative tools that support profitability, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
