New Pest Control Solution Emerging

New Pest Control Solution Emerging

By Scout Nelson

Apex Bait Technologies is developing a new solution to control harmful fly populations that affect livestock environments. Stable flies, house flies, and other filth flies are common pests that cause discomfort to animals and can lead to health problems and reduced productivity. The company aims to introduce a safe and low-cost product to address this growing concern.

The new technology is based on a bait system that attracts flies and ensures complete mortality. One important feature of this product is that it prevents the development of resistance in fly populations. Many traditional pest control methods lose effectiveness over time because flies adapt to them. This innovative bait is designed to overcome that challenge.

Early testing of the prototype has shown promising results. In both laboratory and field trials, more than ninety percent of stable flies were eliminated within two days. These findings suggest that the product has strong potential to become an efficient and reliable pest control option.

As part of its research project, the company is gathering feedback from people involved in livestock operations. The goal is to better understand the level of fly pressure in different environments and the methods currently used for control. It also seeks opinions on what features are most important in new pest management technologies.

The survey is designed to collect useful insights that will help shape the final product. It includes questions about common practices, challenges, and preferences related to fly control. The information collected will guide improvements to ensure the product meets practical needs.

The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete and can be accessed by clicking here. For questions or to answer the survey via phone, contact David Glass at (617) 653-9945 or david.glass.foresightst@gmail.com.

This initiative highlights the importance of collaboration in agriculture. By sharing their experiences, participants can help develop a more effective solution for managing flies and improving overall livestock conditions.
