Ohio state fair begins soon with exciting events and activities

The Ohio State Fair is just three days away, starting on July 24 and running through August 4, 2024.

It’s time to plan your visit and take advantage of advance-sale deals, available only through July 23. Discounted tickets and ride-all-day wristband deals can be found at ohiostatefair.com.

Here are some of the many attractions included with Fair admission:

Creative Arts and Youth Arts Exhibition: Visit Kasich Hall to see incredible entries in the Cooking & Baking Competition, Youth Arts Competition, and Arts, Crafts, and Fashion Competition. Participate in people's choice voting through the Ohio State Fair app.

Demonstrations: Enjoy a variety of demonstrations, including cooking demos, in Kasich Hall.

Entertainment: The Dog House: Featuring daily Marvelous Mutts performances and the new Sheepdog Spectacular shows.

Entertainment Alley: Offering a variety of performances each day.

Main Street Stage: Presented by Ohio Lottery with numerous entertainers and musical acts.

Nerveless Nocks Sway Pole Thrill Show: A new thrilling performance.

Pig Races: Watch these fun and exciting races.

Roving Entertainment: Enjoy entertainment throughout the fairgrounds.

Taste of Ohio Pavilion & Beer Garden Stage: A new addition featuring daily acoustic performances.

Wellcare Gazebo Stage: Hosting various shows and events.

Wheels of Agriculture Game Show: An interactive and educational game show.

Fine Arts Exhibition: One of the largest art shows in the state, showcasing incredible pieces by local artists.

Lausche Youth Exploration Space: Participate in competitions, demonstrations, and activities from Ohio youth organizations, including Ohio 4-H, COSI, Boy Scouts, and more. This space offers fun and educational experiences for all ages.

Little Farmers: A hands-on exhibit for preschool and elementary-aged children located on the Voinovich Livestock & Trade Center Lawn. Explore nine different stations to learn about various aspects of Ohio agriculture.

Livestock Shows and Education: Watch livestock shows and visit the OVMA Animal Care Center for Moo U Guided Barn Tours to learn more about livestock and agriculture.

Natural Resources Park: Featuring an amphitheater with daily entertainment, youth fishing, kayaking, butterfly house, aviary, geological pathway, archery, Smokey Bear, and more.

Ohio State Fair History Exhibit: A new exhibit in Kasich Hall C showcasing the history of the fair with historic photos and scale models dating back to the 1800s.

OVMA Animal Care Center: Visit baby animals and learn about animal care.

Free Petting Zoo: Enjoy interacting with various animals.

Sporting Events: Held in Kasich Hall.
