Pine County Horse Club Meeting

Pine County Horse Club Meeting

By Scout Nelson

Pine County 4H members interested in the horse project are encouraged to attend the Ambitious Pines 4H Horse Project Meeting on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. The meeting will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Central Time at the Hinckley-Finlayson High School Community Education rooms, located at 201 Main St E, Hinckley, MN 55037.

This event is open to all youth who would like to participate in the horse project. Members are welcome to be involved in more than one club, allowing them to expand their learning experiences and community involvement. The meeting will focus on project expectations, upcoming activities, and opportunities for skill development related to horse care and management.

Participants should enter through the northeast corner door of the school, located in the new wing of the building. After entering the first set of doors, attendees must take the elevator to the second floor where the meeting will be held. An agenda will be available one week prior to the meeting to help families prepare.

The horse project provides youth with hands-on learning experiences. Members develop responsibility, teamwork, communication skills, and knowledge about proper animal care. Through organized meetings and events, students gain confidence and leadership abilities that support their personal growth.

Families seeking more information about these meetings and other local programs can visit the University of Minnesota Extension website at https://extension.umn.edu. Questions regarding clubs or the horse project can be directed to the contact listed in the official announcement.

The program will be delivered in English. Interpreter services may be available with advance notice. University of Minnesota Extension remains committed to providing equal opportunity for participation in all programs and activities.

Individuals needing accommodations are encouraged to contact the event representative at least two weeks before the meeting date to ensure arrangements can be made.

This gathering offers an important opportunity for youth in Pine County to connect, learn, and actively participate in a supportive 4H horse project environment.
