The Pride of Dakota Advisory Council is scheduled to meet at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the North Dakota Department of Agriculture, located on the 6th floor of the State Capitol. This meeting will focus on the planning and coordination of the 2024 showcases and consider updates for the following years.
The Pride of Dakota Advisory Council will review and plan upcoming showcases and activities, starting with a welcome and roll call. John F. Schneider will present the Director's Report, outlining recent initiatives and strategic directions. The council will also approve the minutes from the January 2024 meeting for accurate records.
Significant time will be dedicated to discuss the dates and registration figures for the 2024 showcases, focusing on boosting participant engagement. An advertising strategy will be developed to enhance visibility and attendance.
The council will review potential layout changes for the 2025 Bismarck showcase and consider different venues for the Dickinson showcase to improve the overall event experience.
The council plans to review website updates for 2025-2027 to support its objectives. They plan to promote Pride of Dakota companies outside the showcase season to maintain engagement. New apparel will be introduced to increase brand visibility.
The council will also examine the 2023 showcase expense report to manage future budgets. The meeting is set to adjourn.
