A series of roundtable meetings, both virtual and in-person, will be held across the state, providing members an opportunity to raise issues and share ideas on how their organization can better serve them. The meetings will also feature updates on current matters that are being addressed on behalf of members by the leadership team.
The schedule includes six in-person meetings and two virtual sessions. The in-person meetings will take place on October 28 in Holton and Dodge City, October 30 in Hays, November 4 in Oakley and Iola, and November 6 in Burrton. Virtual roundtable meetings are scheduled for November 7 and 12. All sessions will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
At each in-person meeting, a complimentary beef dinner will be served. Members are encouraged to participate by bringing up topics of concern or suggesting areas where the organization could improve its services.
RSVPs are required, and members can sign up by emailing at shelbi@kla.orgor calling the organizers at (785) 273-5115, providing their location and names of attendees. Specific meeting venues can be confirmed upon registration. For those attending virtual roundtables, it’s important to provide an email address to receive the meeting link.
