Spring Tree Seed Collection Webinar Series

Spring Tree Seed Collection Webinar Series

By Scout Nelson

The University of Minnesota Extension is offering a helpful webinar series called Fridays with Forester. This program focuses on important topics related to forests and woodlands, especially for landowners and individuals interested in nature and forest management. The sessions are informal and open to everyone, making them easy to attend and understand.

Each webinar begins with a short presentation, followed by a discussion where participants can ask questions and learn more. These sessions aim to address common concerns and provide useful knowledge about maintaining healthy forests. One of the key topics in this series is spring tree seed collection, which plays an important role in forest growth and sustainability.

The webinars are designed for Minnesota woodland owners, landowners, and anyone interested in forest ecology. The sessions are completely free, allowing more people to take advantage of this learning opportunity. Participants only need to register once to receive access links for all sessions in the series. The last date to register is April 24. And to register for the webinar, click on the link.

The program also ensures equal participation opportunities for everyone. Those who need special accommodation can request support at least two weeks before the event. While the sessions are conducted in English, interpreter services may be provided if requested in advance.

This webinar series is a great opportunity for individuals to gain knowledge about forests, learn practical skills, and connect with experts. It supports better decision-making for forest care and encourages sustainable environmental practices. For more information about similar events.
