The US delegation, led by the National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) and the US Dairy Export Council (USDEC), included representatives from companies, farmers, and industry organizations. Their Mexican counterparts came from various dairy producer and processor groups.

Discussions centered on key issues facing both industries, including trade, promoting dairy consumption, and improving farm productivity. Leaders from both sides emphasized the importance of working together to address these challenges.

"Mexico is a valuable partner for US dairy," said Krysta Harden, CEO of USDEC. "These meetings help us work together for the success of the dairy sector in both countries."

A joint statement outlined ten areas of continued collaboration. These include:

  • Promoting dairy consumption in both countries.
  • Identifying ways to improve dairy farm productivity.
