The 2027 Wisconsin Corn-Soy Expo will feature two well-known agricultural broadcasters as keynote speakers, giving attendees valuable insights into the issues shaping modern farming.
The event is scheduled for January 21-22, 2027, at the Kalahari Resort & Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells and is expected to attract farmers, agribusiness professionals, industry leaders, and agricultural stakeholders from across the region.
Tyne Morgan, host and executive producer of U.S. Farm Report, will deliver the opening keynote at 8 a.m. on Thursday, January 21,2026.
Mike Pearson, host of This Week in Agribusiness on RFD-TV, will speak at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 22, 2026, with a presentation titled "What's Driving Agriculture Now?"
"One of the things that makes this such a valuable event is the opportunity for farmers to hear directly from some of the most trusted voices in agriculture," said Luke Goessling, WSA director and chair of the Wisconsin Corn-Soy Expo committee.
Morgan, who grew up in Missouri with deep agricultural roots, began her broadcasting career at age 16 and later earned a degree in Agricultural Journalism from the University of Missouri.
Morgan became the first female host of U.S. Farm Report in 2014 and continues to cover key issues affecting rural America.
"Tyne Morgan has spent her career telling the stories of rural America and helping producers stay informed about the issues impacting their operations,” said WSA President Doug Rebout.
“We're excited to welcome her to Wisconsin and know attendees will walk away inspired and better informed.”
Pearson, raised on a livestock farm in Iowa, previously worked in agricultural lending before moving into broadcasting. His session will explore commodity markets, trade, and agricultural policy while offering practical insights for producers.
"Mike's ability to break down complex issues into actionable information has made him a trusted source for farmers across the country," said Kate Lonze, Wisconsin Corn Growers Association associate director and Corn-Soy Expo committee member. "His perspective on markets, policy and trade will provide tremendous value for our attendees.”
