The University of Minnesota Extension is set to host the "Strategic Farming: Let’s Talk Crops!" webinar series, beginning January 8, 2025. This educational series offers an opportunity for farmers and agricultural professionals to engage in crucial discussions on the latest trends and challenges in commodity crop production.
Scheduled to run every Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 am through March 26, 2025, these sessions are designed to be highly interactive and accessible from various devices including computers, phones, or other mobile devices. The series is structured to be informal, ensuring that all participants can engage comfortably and derive maximum benefit.
Each session in the series will kick off with a brief presentation from that day's discussion leaders, followed by a Q&A session where participants can pose questions related to the topic. This format is intended to foster a dynamic exchange of ideas and solutions relevant to today’s agricultural landscape.
Topics to be covered include advancements in corn and soybean production, effective management of crop diseases and pests, and the innovative use of emerging technologies such as drones in weed management. These discussions will be enriched by contributions from guest experts from the University of Minnesota, neighboring state universities, and industry professionals.
