The Ohio Farm Bureau Young Agricultural Professionals is hosting a series of lunch and learn webinars featuring experts from Nationwide.
These sessions will introduce innovative solutions, research, and the latest technology and strategies to protect farms and rural communities. Each session provides one hour of workers’ compensation training, which may count towards the annual group rating program employer two-hour training requirement.
The webinars will take place from noon to 1 p.m. EST, and registration is required for each virtual session.
The first session, titled "Agtech Innovation Hub," is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 14. Young Ag Professionals John and Kacy Hummel will host the event, featuring Bethany Rowles from Nationwide Agribusiness.
Participants will learn about ongoing research through a unique partnership among the Ohio Farm Bureau, Ohio State University, and Nationwide.
The AgTech Innovation Hub aims to foster the development of new solutions to benefit the agricultural ecosystem while improving the understanding, management, and mitigation of climate risk.
