Farmers and agricultural producers in Kentucky affected by the flooding from March 14 to March 17, 2025, may be eligible for financial assistance through the USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA).
Physical loss loans are available to help producers repair or replace property vital to their farming operations that was damaged or destroyed by the disaster.
These loans can be used for a variety of essential assets, including farm buildings, equipment, livestock, perennial crops, harvested or stored hay and grain, and fruit or nut-bearing trees. The goal is to help producers recover from physical losses and resume normal operations.
The impacted area includes counties directly affected by the flooding, with additional eligibility extended to neighboring counties Clinton, Cumberland, and Monroe in Kentucky.
Applications for assistance must be submitted by February 16, 2026. Producers are encouraged to act promptly to explore their options and begin the recovery process.
