New York Farm Bureau (NYFB) members have an exciting opportunity to secure funding to support innovative farm projects through the 2025 Mini-Grant Challenge. With awards of $2,500 or $5,000 available, the grant aims to support initiatives that enhance farm resilience or profitability.
Whether it’s investing in conservation practices, diversifying operations, solving labor challenges, or improving marketing strategies, this program is designed to help farms take meaningful steps forward.
Applicants must submit a brief proposal outlining their project ideas. Finalists will be selected to present live during the NYFB State Annual Convention on December 3, 2025.
This presentation will take place in front of a large audience, giving participants not only a shot at the grant but also a platform to showcase their work and connect with agricultural leaders from across the state.
The application deadline is November 15, 2025. All NYFB members are eligible to apply. Those who are not yet members are encouraged to join and take part in this valuable opportunity.
For questions or more information, contact your County Manager or reach out to Paula Rohl, NYFB Events and Public Policy Coordinator, at 518-431-5613.
