The Wisconsin Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) Board is inviting nominations for individuals interested in serving on the board. Eligible candidates must be CCAs in good standing and willing to contribute their expertise to support the program and its members.
Both self-nominations and nominations of other qualified advisors are encouraged, provided the nominee has given their approval.
Board members serve a three-year term and may complete up to two consecutive terms. The board typically meets three to four times each year, offering members an opportunity to collaborate on initiatives that strengthen the CCA program and benefit the broader agricultural community.
To be considered, nominees must submit a brief biography of up to half a page outlining their experience and qualifications. All submissions must be received by Friday, April 17, 2026.
Biographies should be sent to Daniel Smith at dhsmith@wisc.edu or call 608-219-5170, a weed science outreach specialist with UW-Madison Extension, who is available to answer any questions about the nomination process.
