CattleFax Chief Executive Officer Randy Blach will deliver an insightful presentation on how herd expansion, or the lack thereof, will influence beef supplies and cattle prices in 2025. This presentation will be part of the Beef Industry University event, held during the Kansas Livestock Association (KLA) Convention & Expo on November 21. The presentation is sponsored by the Farm Credit Associations of Kansas.
Blach will also provide cattle price forecasts, considering several critical factors, such as grain prices, energy costs, beef exports, competing meat supplies, and consumer demand. He will present a detailed analysis of how drought conditions, rising interest rates, and high input costs could shape the cattle market over the coming year.
For those interested in attending, early bird registration ends on November 1, with prices increasing thereafter. Online and printable registration forms are available for easy access. Attendees are encouraged to register soon, as hotel accommodation at the convention headquarters has already sold out.
While the Hilton Garden Inn and Fairfield Inn are fully booked, attendees can still secure rooms at the Holiday Inn Express, Bluemont Hotel, and Courtyard Manhattan-Aggieville. Be sure to mention your KLA affiliation when booking to receive a special rate. For more information and to book rooms online, visit the KLA website.
