Farmers and livestock producers will have an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of cattle grading at an upcoming event on April 22, 2025, at Farmers Stockyards, located at 255 Helena Rd, Flemingsburg, KY 41041.

This educational event is CAIP Education Eligible and also qualifies for two hours of 4-H Livestock Educational Hours, making it a valuable opportunity for youth and producers alike.

The session will feature Jim Akers as the guest speaker, offering insights into essential aspects of cattle grading.

Attendees can expect to learn about live feeder grading demonstrations, price determination, factors that lead to discounts, cow condition scoring, and the overall market outlook.
