The Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin (DFW) Board of Directors has announced its executive committee for fiscal year 2027 while welcoming newly elected members to its 25-member board.
The directors will serve through June 30, 2027, and will continue guiding efforts to responsibly invest dairy farmer checkoff funds, strengthen consumer confidence, and increase demand for Wisconsin dairy products.
Janet Clark of Eldorado, representing District 16, was re-elected as board chair for a fifth straight term.
“It is an honor to continue serving as Board Chair and representing Wisconsin’s hardworking dairy farmers,” said Clark. “Together, our board and the DFW team remain committed to ensuring farmers are at the center of our work as we strengthen trust, expand markets and create new opportunities for Wisconsin dairy.”
Joining Clark on the executive committee are Jonathon Hallock of Mondovi as vice chair, Sandra Madland of Lyndon Station as secretary, and Mark Crave of Watertown as treasurer.
Additional committee leadership includes Kristen Metcalf as communications committee chair, Carolyn Alsteen as channel management committee chair, Andrew Christenson as policy/bylaw committee chair, and Ali Straschinske as Center for Dairy Research liaison committee chair.
During the organization’s annual election meeting in July, three new directors were elected to the board: Evan Hillan of Ladysmith (District 1), Bruce Gumz of Dorchester (District 8), and Patrick R. Schroeder of Lancaster (District 22).
Seven current directors also secured new three-year terms, continuing their service and leadership across multiple districts.
The board represents dairy farmers from 27 counties throughout Wisconsin, ensuring that DFW’s programs and initiatives reflect the needs and priorities of producers across the state.
“The leadership and firsthand experience our directors bring to the board are essential to delivering meaningful results for Wisconsin dairy farmers,” said Chad Vincent, CEO of Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin.
“Their perspectives help guide our priorities, strengthen accountability and ensure our work continues to build trust and drive demand for Wisconsin dairy throughout the state, across the country and around the world.”
