DATCP Seeks Candidates for Wisconsin Soybean Board Seats

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is accepting nominations for three open positions on the Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board. Eligible soybean producers in specific districts can nominate themselves or others for a seat on the board.

The available seats represent the following districts:

  • District 3: Adams, Crawford, Grant, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Richland, Sauk, and Vernon counties
  • District 4: Columbia, Dodge, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Marquette, Waushara, and Winnebago counties
  • District 5: Dane, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, and Rock counties

Producers interested in participating must request a nomination form by May 30, 2025, by contacting DATCP Market Orders staff at DATCPMarketOrders@wisconsin.gov.

Completed nomination forms must include signatures from five qualified soybean growers (excluding the nominee) and be postmarked no later than May 30, 2025. Forms should be mailed to DATCP Market Orders Program, P.O. Box 8911, Madison, WI 53708-8911.

The election process will take place between July 10 and August 15, 2025, with newly elected board members beginning their three-year terms on September 1, 2025.
