Enhance electric fence skills - KY Workshop June 12th

By Blake Jackson

Calling all Kentucky livestock producers! Sharpen your skills in electric fence installation and troubleshooting with a comprehensive workshop on June 12th.

Organized by the Kentucky Forage and Grassland Council, UK Cooperative Extension Service, and the Master Grazer Program, this event promises an in-depth learning experience.

The program will be held at the Butler County Cooperative Extension Service in Morgantown, KY (102 Parkway Lane) starting at 9:00 am CST with refreshments.

After classroom sessions, participants will head to a local dairy farm for hands-on demonstrations. By 4:30 pm, you'll be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills to confidently manage your electric fencing system.

This workshop is a valuable opportunity to improve your grazing management practices and animal handling. Don't miss out! For more information or to register, contact Caroline Roper at caroline.roper@uky.edu.
