Governor Kathy Hochul has announced that admission and parking passes for the 2026 Great New York State Fair are now available for purchase.
Beginning July 7 at 9 a.m., visitors can buy tickets online, by phone, or later at the fairgrounds when the event opens. Organizers continue to emphasize affordability, with general admission priced at $8.
Admission includes access to concerts in the Chevrolet Music Series, agricultural exhibits, live demonstrations, entertainment across the grounds, and a variety of family-friendly attractions. Children ages 12 and younger, along with adults 65 and older, will once again receive free admission.
“The Great New York State Fair is a time-honored tradition, celebrating our agricultural heritage and a cornerstone of our summers here in New York State,” Governor Hochul said.
“People shouldn’t have to break the bank to have fun. As of today, tickets for this affordable, family-friendly event that will be packed with old favorites and new attractions are now on sale. New Yorkers – get your tickets today and I’ll see you at The Fair this summer!”
Visitors planning multiple trips can purchase the online-only Frequent Fairgoer pass for $25, which allows one admission per day throughout the Fair’s 13-day run.
Parking is available for $12 per vehicle, while advance Midway ride tickets from Wade Shows will be released in the coming weeks.
Tickets may be purchased through the Fair’s website at https://nysfair.ny.gov/, by calling Etix, or at electronic kiosks located at every entrance beginning August 26.
QR codes posted at gates and parking areas will allow guests to purchase tickets on their smartphones, while reverse ATMs will be available to convert cash into prepaid cards.
Including processing fees, admission costs $8.32, the Frequent Fairgoer pass is $25.70, and parking is $12.41 per vehicle.
