Pop star Jesse McCartney is set to take the stage at The Great New York State Fair this summer, giving fans an exciting opportunity to see him perform live. His show is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, at Chevy Court, one of the fair’s main entertainment venues.
McCartney rose to prominence in the early 2000s with his debut album Beautiful Soul in 2004, which featured the widely popular title track.
Over the years, he has built a successful career with additional albums such as Jesse McCartney (2006) and Departure (2008), producing hit songs like “Leavin’,” “How Do You Sleep,” and “Body Language.”
In addition to performing, he has also made his mark as a songwriter, co-writing Leona Lewis’ international hit “Bleeding Love.” His music blends pop and R&B influences, earning him a loyal fan base.
“Jesse McCartney’s music makes me want to roll the windows down and sing along,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “We’re thrilled to welcome him to the fairgrounds to entertain fans of all ages with his energetic performance and timeless hits.”
Following the success of his independent album All’s Well and a sold-out national tour, McCartney has reestablished himself as a strong live performer.
McCartney recent tour, The Weightless Tour, combined classic hits with newer material, showcasing his artistic growth. He also made special guest appearances with the Jonas Brothers at major venues like MetLife Stadium and Fenway Park, further boosting his visibility.
Beyond music, McCartney has appeared in television and film, including roles in All My Children and Greek, as well as voice acting in projects like Alvin and the Chipmunks and the Kingdom Hearts video game series.
