By Blake Jackson

The 2025 Kentucky Fruit and Vegetable Conference will be held from January 6 to 7 at the Marriott Lexington Griffin Gate Golf Resort & Spa, located at 1800 Newtown Pike, Lexington, KY. This premier, statewide event attracts around 600 growers, researchers, and technical support providers each year.

The conference focuses on various aspects of fruit, vegetable, and cut flower production, including handling, harvesting, marketing, and storage. It offers an opportunity for professionals in the horticulture industry to come together, share knowledge, and discuss the latest trends and innovations.

The event will begin with pre-conference roundtable discussions, where fruit and vegetable growers will engage with university specialists to reflect on the previous production year, address challenges, and seek advice on overcoming issues.

The main conference program features over 20 educational tracks, offering insights from more than 70 expert speakers. Topics will cover a wide range of subjects relevant to growers and other stakeholders in the horticulture industry.

Additionally, the trade show will showcase more than 60 vendors presenting the latest horticulture products and services, providing attendees with valuable opportunities to explore new tools and technologies.

This conference serves as an essential gathering for those involved in Kentucky’s vibrant fruit and vegetable sector, providing a platform for networking, education, and collaboration. For more information and to register, visit the event’s official website.
