Join Pineville Beef Training on February 10

By Blake Jackson

Area cattle producers and community members are invited to a free Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) training session on Tuesday, February 10, at 6 p.m., held at the Pineville Community Center, 602 Jessie James Road, Pineville.

The session is hosted through a partnership between the Missouri Beef Industry Council and the Newton/McDonald County Cattlemen’s Association, according to Patrick Davis, University of Missouri Extension livestock specialist.

Attendees will have the opportunity to earn their BQA certification at no cost. BQA is a nationally recognized program that promotes best management practices, responsible animal care, food safety, and environmental stewardship in the beef industry.

Dinner will be provided, and the training is open to all, including producers, students, and anyone interested in learning more about beef production. Participants will leave the session fully BQA-certified, gaining knowledge that enhances both on-farm practices and consumer confidence in beef products.

RSVP is required to secure a spot. Those interested can contact Ally Crick via email at allison@mobeef.com Or by phone at 573-473-6724.
