The Ranchland Trust of Kansas (RTK), supported by the Kansas Livestock Association, has successfully conserved nearly 20,000 acres across Kansas, thanks to generous contributions from its members and supporters.
As the year draws to a close, RTK is reaching out to individuals and organizations to help continue its mission of preserving Kansas ranchlands for future generations.
RTK, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, offers an opportunity for donations to not only support vital conservation efforts but also provide tax benefits to the donors. Contributions to RTK are tax-deductible, making it an advantageous option for those looking to reduce their taxable income for the year while contributing to a worthy cause.
For those interested in supporting RTK, contributions by check must be postmarked by December 31 to ensure they are counted for the 2024 tax year. Donors will receive a charitable gift receipt, providing necessary documentation for tax purposes. Alternatively, donations can also be made online. To ensure timely processing, online donations must be completed by midnight on December 31, local time.
By donating to RTK, you are not only aiding in the preservation of the natural beauty and agricultural heritage of Kansas but also supporting sustainable land management practices that benefit both the environment and the local communities. Every contribution helps RTK expand its efforts and protect more land.
For more information on how to contribute and to process online donations, please visit RTK's official website. Your support is crucial for the continuation and expansion of conservation initiatives throughout Kansas. Join the RTK herd today and make a lasting impact on the Kansas landscape.
