In August, the Kentucky Office of Agricultural Policy will host several key meetings, all of which will be held in person. On Friday, August 9, the Kentucky Agricultural Finance Corp. (KAFC) will convene for two important sessions at the Franklin County Extension Office in Frankfort.
The day will begin with the KAFC Loan Review Committee meeting at 9 a.m. EDT, where members will review and discuss loan applications. This will be followed by the KAFC's monthly business meeting at 10 a.m. EDT, where broader financial and operational issues will be addressed.
A week later, on Friday, August 15, the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board (KADB) will hold its monthly business meeting at 10 a.m. EDT in South Wing C-108 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.
Following this meeting, the KADB Food Safety & Efficiency Committee will convene for a session 30 minutes after the business meeting concludes.
Additionally, the KADB White Application Review Committee will meet immediately after the Food Safety & Efficiency Committee to continue their review process.
These gatherings will provide opportunities for stakeholders to engage with critical agricultural policy and development issues facing Kentucky.
