Kentucky farmers gather for key event

The Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture recently visited Owensboro to speak with members of the Cattlemen’s Association. The event attracted farmers from across the state, offering them a valuable opportunity to engage with the commissioner, explore new agricultural equipment, and discuss the latest farming strategies.

“They come here for the main reason, they want to talk to people, they want to see what’s going on,” said Randy Kwarner, President of the Kentucky Cattlemen’s Association. “Some people might not see friendships you’ve through half the year this is the only time they I’ll come together and I mean people really enjoy that it’s rather to me. It’s a joy the watch them do that.”

Thursday's event was part of a statewide tour by the Agriculture Commissioner, and it marked a significant occasion for farmers to discuss issues and trends impacting the industry. The convention will conclude on Saturday night, providing attendees with one last chance to network, gain insights, and celebrate the agricultural community's shared goals.
