The 2026 Kentucky State Fair is set to deliver 11 days of entertainment, music, and family activities from August 20-30,2026, with organizers announcing an exciting lineup for the Texas Roadhouse Concert Series.
Fair admission provides access to concerts, exhibits, amusement rides, agricultural showcases, and a wide variety of attractions for visitors of all ages.
This year's concert schedule features nationally recognized performers alongside several Kentucky musicians.
The series opens with Cooper Alan and Kentucky artist JD Shelburne, while other headliners include Midnight Star, Black Stone Cherry, Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder, Cain, Ernest, Boys Like Girls, Hairball, Foghat, and the Kentucky Headhunters.
The Happy Together Tour will also bring a collection of classic music legends to the stage. Concerts will take place in Lot L at the Kentucky Exposition Center, with gates opening at 6:30 p.m. and performances beginning at 8 p.m.
Beyond the main stage, fairgoers can enjoy continuous live music throughout the event at The BIG Tent and the Budweiser Tent, where more than 40 regional bands and entertainers will perform. The Hitching Post will also host live music, with its performance schedule expected to be released later.
The fair will also feature an extensive selection of family-friendly attractions and agricultural events.
Visitors can explore the United We Stand at 250 Exhibit, Discovery Farm, Thrill Ville rides, livestock competitions, horse shows, shopping areas, family entertainment, health screenings, contests, and educational exhibits celebrating Kentucky agriculture and heritage.
Additional highlights include the World's Championship Horse Show, the Largest Pumpkin and Watermelon Contest, Kentucky State Fair Talent Classic, Rescue Ridge, BEERFEST, Championship Drive, and numerous children's activities.
With its blend of live entertainment, agriculture, food, and interactive exhibits, the Kentucky State Fair continues to offer one of the state's largest annual celebrations for families and visitors from across the region.
