Krystal Gunderson Joins Kentucky FFA Foundation Board

By Blake Jackson

The Kentucky FFA Foundation has added Krystal Gunderson of Russellville to its Board of Trustees, bringing a longtime connection to agriculture and FFA to the organization’s leadership team. Gunderson is Community President of First Southern National Bank in Logan County and has both professional and personal ties to the FFA program.

Gunderson participated in FFA while attending high school and says the experience helped her develop communication skills, discipline, organization, and confidence that have supported her throughout her career. Her family remains closely involved with the organization.

Gunderson and her husband, Guy, are parents to twin sons, Isaac and Landon, who are seniors at Todd County Central High School and active FFA members.

Through her sons’ participation, Gunderson has continued to witness the impact FFA can have on students and their development. She also brings a strong commitment to mentoring and supporting others through her work at First Southern National Bank.

Raised on a farm, Gunderson understands the importance of perseverance and a strong work ethic. She believes the lessons learned through agriculture and the values promoted by FFA can help young people navigate challenges and prepare for their futures.

“This organization has been making a difference in the lives of young adults for many years, and I can’t wait to share in the future success of FFA,” Gunderson said.

The Kentucky FFA Foundation said it looks forward to Gunderson’s leadership, experience, and enthusiasm as it works to expand opportunities for FFA members across Kentucky.
