The Medina County Farm Bureau has introduced the Medina Ag-Advantage Member Bonus Program to support and encourage young participants involved in Junior Fair projects. This initiative is designed to recognize the efforts and hard work of children from member families who actively participate in agricultural activities.
The program aims to give back to the children of Farm Bureau members by providing a financial bonus for their participation in Junior Fair projects. These projects can include a wide range of activities, not limited to market projects. Every type of Junior Fair project is considered eligible for this reward, making the program inclusive for all participants.
Each eligible child can receive one financial bonus, regardless of how many projects they complete. This ensures fair distribution of benefits and allows more families to take part in the program. Parents or guardians are required to submit one application per child to register for the program.
The application process is simple and convenient. Members can apply by filling out an online form or by contacting the Farm Bureau office directly over the phone. To complete the registration, applicants need to provide specific details such as their Farm Bureau Member ID number, parent name, child name, and a list of Junior Fair projects for the year 2026.
The last date to submit applications is Monday, July 27, at 4 p.m. It is important for members to apply before the deadline to ensure that their children are considered for the bonus benefit.
The financial bonus will be distributed in a unique way. It will be added as an “add-on” donation during the Junior Fair auction. After the fair concludes, the bonus amount will be included in the exhibitor’s final check. This approach ensures that participants receive their reward as part of their fair earnings.
