Missouri Corn Groups Announce 2026-27 Leadership Teams

The Missouri Corn Merchandising Council (MCMC) and Missouri Corn Growers Association (MCGA) have announced their leadership teams and national committee assignments for the 2026-27 fiscal year.

MCMC’s new officers began serving October 1, 2026, following elections held during the organization’s August board meeting in Branson.

MCMC Officers:

  • Dylan Rosier, Mound City, District 1 — Chairman
  • Adam Casner, Carrollton, District 2 — Vice Chairman
  • Brian Willott, Mexico, District 3 — Secretary
  • Brandon Thiel, Marshall, District 5 — Treasurer

MCGA also selected its 2026-27 leadership team during August.

MCGA Officers:

  • Patrick Seyer, Oran, District 7 — President
  • Ryan Meyerkorth, Rock Port, District 1 — Vice President
  • Brice Fischer, Rich Hill, District 4 — Secretary/Treasurer

Jerry Schnelle of Golden City, Missouri, was elected by growers in District 4 and officially joined the MCMC board October 1, 2026. He succeeds Greg Bertz of Mayview. Schnelle is expected to be nominated for a position on the MCGA board during the group’s annual meeting in January.

Missouri Corn also continues its partnership with the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council (USGBC), supporting efforts to increase the value of corn, ethanol and distillers’ grains through international markets.

USGBC Advisory Assignments:

  • Brian Willott — Asia
  • Adam Casner — Ethanol
  • Brice Fischer — Middle East/Africa/South Asia
  • Brian Lehman — Trade Policy
  • Ryan Meyerkorth — Value-Added

Jay Fischer of Jefferson City will serve as USGBC vice chairman, while Dylan Rosier will serve as an at-large board member.

NCGA Assignments:

  • Brandon Thiel — Biofuels Chairman
  • Marc Kaiser — Research & New Uses
  • Brian Willott — Risk Management
  • Addie Yoder — Production & Sustainability and Nominating Committee
  • Will Hunter — Trade/Transportation/Animal Agriculture
