With just three weeks remaining before The Great New York State Fair opens, Wade Shows has announced a one-day online flash sale offering the lowest prices of the season on Midway ride wristbands.
The special promotion begins at 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, and continues until midnight, giving fairgoers an opportunity to purchase discounted tickets through The Great New York State Fair or Wade Shows websites.
During the flash sale, Ride All Day Wristbands will be available for $24 plus applicable fees, saving visitors up to $23. Each wristband is valid for one day during the Fair’s 13-day run and provides unlimited access to participating rides.
"We are thrilled to partner with Wade Shows to bring one of the most popular deals back this year,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave.
“From classic family favorites to exciting new thrill attractions, our iconic Midway has something for every fairgoer. The unlimited ride all day wristband is one of the best values of The Fair, so don’t miss your chance to save.”
“Our goal is to give fairgoers the best possible value by offering as much entertainment as we can while keeping it affordable," Wade Shows Owner Frank Zaitshik said.
"With nearly 70 rides and attractions this year, we’re proud to offer even more to see and do at the same discounted rate as before. We encourage everyone to take advantage of these savings.”
Following the flash sale, advance Ride All Day Wristbands will be sold online from August 7 through August 25 for $28 plus fees. Prices during the Fair will increase to $37 on weekdays and $47 on weekends.
Visitors can also purchase a Mega Pass for $97 plus fees, which provides unlimited rides throughout the entire Fair. Advance pickup will be available near Gate 4 before opening day.
Additional promotions include Wacky Wednesday discounted wristbands, individual ride credit packages, and Tasty Tuesday specials featuring select food items priced between $3 and $5 alongside discounted rides.
The Midway will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with an earlier closing time on Labor Day.
