The Great New York State Fair is now accepting vendor applications for its 2026 event, scheduled for August 26 through September 7, 2026. Businesses with distinctive products, creative concepts, and a passion for engaging customers are invited to apply for a spot at New York’s largest summer attraction, which continues to blend long-standing traditions with new and innovative offerings.
Each year, nearly one million visitors attend the Fair, creating a vibrant marketplace for food vendors, retailers, and service providers. Offerings range from regional specialties and international cuisine to fashion accessories, home and garden décor, handmade goods, and body art. For many businesses, participation in the Fair provides unmatched exposure, customer interaction, and opportunities to build lasting brand recognition.
“The Great New York State Fair has played a huge role in our story the last 10 years. Every year, we meet thousands of new guests who turn into regulars, supporters, and friends,” said Nick Sanford, owner of Toss & Fire Pizza.
“The Fair brings an unmatched sense of community, and being a part of it has allowed Toss & Fire to grow in ways we never imagined when we first rolled in with one little wood-fired oven.”
“One of the best parts of my job is providing opportunities for businesses to thrive,” Fair Director Julie LaFave said. “We work closely with our vendors to ensure they have the best Fair experience possible, and in turn, our fairgoers enjoy a memorable event filled with variety and quality.”
Vendors interested in applying can find requirements and submit applications through the Fair’s “Becoming a Vendor” webpage. Key deadlines include January 16, 2026, for priority returning vendor applications; January 19, 2026, when new applications begin rolling review; and March 15, 2026, the final submission date before a 1.5% rate increase.
