By Blake Jackson

Pop-rock band The All-American Rejects is set to headline the Suburban Park stage at the Great New York State Fair on Opening Day, Wednesday, August 26, at 8 p.m., marking their first appearance at the event. Known for their chart-topping hits and energetic live shows, the band remains a fan favorite across generations.

With more than 12 million albums sold worldwide and billions of streams on Spotify, the group earned a place among Billboard’s “Hot 100 Artists of the 2000s.”

Their popular tracks include Move Along, It Ends Tonight, and Gives You Hell, the latter achieving 9× multi-platinum certification.

The band continues to tour and is preparing to release a new album, Sandbox, scheduled for May 15, 2026.

“Among the most-requested artists from our fairgoers, we’re thrilled to welcome The All-American Rejects to The Fair," Fair Director Julie LaFave said. "Their popularity and energetic stage presence are sure to have generations of fairgoers dancing and singing along."

The fair will run from August 26 through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. All concerts are included with admission, with ticket sales expected to begin later in the summer.

Entry costs $8 for adults, while children under 12 and seniors aged 65 and older receive free admission.

The 2026 Chevrolet Music Series will feature 41 national acts, including daily performances at Chevy Court and evening headliners at Suburban Park.

Additional special shows are scheduled for August 28 and September 4, with updates available on the fair’s website.
